Garden Pond Maintenance
Garden ponds are an excellent accent in a well-designed garden. It is very important that the pond be properly maintained in order to prevent harmful bacteria from growing in the water, and in order to maintain the overall beauty of the garden. One of the best ways to keep water from becoming stagnant and from becoming a breeding ground for bacteria is to keep the water moving by means of a pond pump. Of course the size of the pond pump you need is highly dependent upon the size of your pond. Most pond pumps are rated for a certain volume of water, so it is important to know exactly how large your pond is so that you purchase the correct pump.
Filtration of the pond water is another important duty that must be performed, and there are pond pump units that integrate this process into the pumping. There are different levels of pond filters depending on if you will have any animals in the water, and this is another consideration to keep in mind when deciding on a pump. Algae is a problem in many garden ponds and a UV clarifier can help to keep the algae under control. These clarifiers can either be purchased separately or in a unit that combines the pump, filter and clarifier system.
If you have had a pond installed in your garden, you want to make sure that it is properly highlighted as it is no doubt the centerpiece of your garden. In order to accomplish this it may be nice to invest in some pond lighting. Several underwater lighting units are available that can really make your pond look quite impressive in the evening. Floating light balls are another very interesting way to add some life and color to your garden pond, especially in the evening.
Even with a filtration system on the pond pump there are times where something a bit more heavy duty is necessary. In these cases a pond vacuum can be very useful in helping to remove debris, sludge, and algae from the pond. Pond vacuums are available in a variety of sizes and are rated based on the amount of water they can hold. Most pond vacuums also come with a variety of different nozzles that can be used for different maintenance tasks around your garden pond.
One way to reduce the amount of debris and sludge that accumulates on your garden pond is to have it properly lined. Pond underlay is rot resistant and is very hard for roots and sharp objects to penetrate, so it is ideal as a base for your garden pond. It is a good idea to completely line your garden pond with underlay for the most effective results. Underlay repair kits will allow you fix any gashes or punctures that may occur to the underlay over time. Pond netting is another nice, discreet solution to preventing debris from entering your garden pond. With the right equipment you can maintain a pristine pond which will be the centerpiece of your beautiful garden for years to come.

Insuring Your Transportation Business

If you run a business that is centered around transportation, then you will want to pay close attention when you choose insurance for that business. You will want to make sure your premiums are as low as you can get them, your coverage is as much as it can be and claims are easy to file. Here are a few hints to help you get started on choosing a provider for your insurance.
If you are running a business, then you will understand that your cost needs to be as low as possible. This doesn’t mean that you don’t want to get optimum coverage, but your expenses need to be kept as low as they can be. Insurance is one of the most important things you will purchase as the owner of a transportation business. Having proper coverage can make or break your company in the event of an accident. This is why it is important to shop around at different insurance providers and compare prices carefully before making your decision. You should be able to pull almost every company up online, which will allow you to shop around and compare prices at your leisure.
When you choose a policy for your business, you should make sure your coverage is as much as you need it to be. You want to be sure if you are in an accident, or if an employee is in an accident, that everyone riding in that car, bus or limousine will be taken care of. It would be really easy to be sued for your business if your insurance doesn’t cover all of the claims. Most insurance companies offer increased payouts for businesses. Make sure you look into this and go with a company that not only will provide what you need, but that will offer a large enough payout to cover you and your company.
Another thing that you will want to check on when choosing an insurance company is how easy it is to file claims with them. If you are a business owner, then chances are that you are pretty busy. The last thing you need is to have to sit on the phone for hours trying to get in touch with someone to file a claim. A great way to check this is to call the company yourself and see how quick it is to get through to somebody. You can also read customer testimonials on most web sites. This should give you a general idea of how easy this provider is to work with. The other thing that you will need to think about is the fact that if there is an accident, chances are that the customer involved will need to contact your insurance provider themselves. You want to make this process as easy and user friendly as possible, as to not cause frustration for your customers.
Choosing insurance for your transportation should be done carefully and after a lot of research. Look into getting the lowest premium, optimum coverage and go with a company that is easy to work with. If you follow these simple steps, you are sure to pick a provider that will offer you everything you need.

At birth, babies prefer high contrast. Black and white designs provide the most contrast. At first, babies prefer geometric patterns with stripes and angles. Soon they will shift their preference to circular patterns, such as bull’s eyes.
Within three weeks, the most exciting image in his visual field is the human face. Because your hairline and your eyes offer the most contrast, he will at first concentrate his gaze between your nose and your forehead. Between four and eight weeks, your baby may break into his first social smile while studying your face. At three months, he will be able to distinguish your face from a stranger’s. By rewarding you with a special smile, he lets you know that he recognizes you. By four months, his vision has matured. Like you, he enjoys looking at things that are colorful, novel, and in motion.
How do you know when your baby finds something visually interesting? An alert, calm, baby will respond to a pleasing object in his visual field by brightening his face and moving his arms and legs rhythmically. An active baby will stop moving and carefully scan the object with his eyes. He will signal to you when an object doesn’t interest him or when he has had enough stimulation by turning away and withdrawing.
Avoid bombarding your baby with visual input during the first two months of his life. During this time, while he’s getting settled, all stimuli should be low key. In these first weeks he is becoming familiar with his hands and should not be exposed to a lot of jazzy stimuli that will distract him from that familiarization process. Later, when he has begun to master basic visual skills and has gained control over his head and hand movements, he will be ready to explore his visual environment. As always, take your cues from him.
Things That Stimulate Visual Development
- Black and white geometric patterns.
- Your face.
- Toys with faces.
- Out of reach mobiles [remove them when the baby can sit to avoid entanglement].
- Mirrors [choose stainless steel mirrors he can’t break].
- Being carried about by you.
- Being placed in an infant seat [always fasten the lap belt and never leave him unattended].

- December and January usually have the highest total number of collisions.
- July and August are when the most severe collisions and the most traffic deaths occur.
- Alcohol is a factor in about five per cent of all traffic collisions and in about 40 per cent of all fatal collisions.
- Approximately 90% of all collisions in rural areas are single vehicle collisions.
- Wearing a seatbelt can decrease your chances of being killed or seriously injured in a collision by as much as 50%.
Save Money with Broadband Bundles

With the popularity of fibre optic broadband and mobile broadband services, many service providers have decided to “bundle” their many service options to save their customers money and to attract new customers with great broadband deals. There are very few service providers who do not offer bundled services today. The bundles usually consist of home phone service, mobile broadband, mobile phone service and TV service. Most service providers will give their customers a choice of which services to bundle. Bundling your service can lead to huge savings per year on most of your communication and home entertainment needs.
The best way to find your new broadband service is to use one of the many broadband review websites to compare the different bundles and other incentives that every major service provider offers. This has the potential to save you hundreds per year on your communication and entertainment services. There are many other benefits that a review website can offer and one of those features is a broadband speed test. This feature will allow you to test the speed of your internet service so you are always surfing at top speed. This is only one of the beneficial features that a broadband review website has to offer.
When it comes to getting the best deal on your broadband service, choosing to bundle services is the best way to achieve huge savings while providing you with many services through the same company. Every service provider offers this type of bundled service, but each company will have their own set of options and restrictions. It is important to understand all of the restrictions that are placed on this type of service before you sign a contract. This is one of the many ways a review website can be beneficial.
When conducting your search for the best broadband service providers and bundle options, a review website can provide you with all of the information you need in one location. This will help you make a more informed decision about which company will best meet your individual needs. There may even be bundles that offer free or reduced price wireless broadband equipment. All of this information is available on a broadband review website. You will even have access to many comments and reviews that actual customers have posted about each of the service providers. This more than anything else will give you a clear picture about the different services and equipment that is available.
It is no secret that everyone needs to save money on their communication and entertainment services, and one of the best ways to do this is by bundling the services offered. Every service provider offers bundled plans; however, they do vary from provider to provider. There is a potential of saving hundreds per year. One of the best ways to compare the different bundles that are offered is by using a broadband review website. This type of website will let you make the most informed decision possible when it comes to your broadband service.
Digital Photograph Retouching

One of the oldest principles of photography has traditionally described the need to consider an image as a whole before depressing the shutter. Making sure that images are properly framed and focused, and that light is accurately portrayed and distributed, are important aspects of photography that remain essential to taking impressive photographs today. Yet with the advent of digital photography as well as digital photo manipulation programs, professional photographers as well as online content creators such as web designers, search engine optimization experts, and internet marketers can achieve great results without quite as much worry allotted to nailing these traditional elements. Of course, film photography and digital formats that are published or used without any alterations still require this precise attention to detail, but the majority of modern picture-takers can relax the rules a bit thanks to today’s digital capabilities.
An especially exciting digital photography introduced with newer pieces of equipment makes it possible to modify photograph elements such as cropping, light manipulation, and basic red-eye aberrations directly on a camera. This function is great for photographers on the go, as sending pictures already shot and perfected before uploading them to a computer can save time and prove remarkably convenient in many situations.
The majority of digital photograph manipulations, however, take place on a computer screen as web design experts, SEO professionals, and other content developers prepare their images for the web. Retouching is a basic feature of most modern digital art programs, and many contain a suite of specially created tools for achieving quality photograph enhancements. One of the most popular functions contained in such suites is red-eye reduction, along with tools for cleaning up glare and overexposure. Working to restore a natural light appearance, these tools can be used to turn amateur images into high quality photographs, particularly when used by an experienced designer.
The removal of unsightly background elements or the adjusting of blemishes or other defects is possible through retouching. A wedding picture might contain the perfect pose and expression, but regrettably also highlight a piece of garbage nearby or the hem of a party goer’s skirt. Retouching the image to stamp or blend over such elements can restore the value of the picture, just as removing a few unruly strands of hair in a portrait or smoothing out a rough angle can enhance the appeal of photographic subjects.
Color modification is another key component of digital photograph retouching. Perfecting the hues of the sun-lit sky in an image of an Austin Texas sunset or bringing out the verdant greens of an Austin Tx park is possible with on-board utilities that change the saturation and tonal range of selected colors. Creating the perfect image for use in a given artistic context, such as matching an ocean scene to the blues and greens of an already-designed site, is also a breeze with digital photo retouching. Through perfecting an image after it has been created with a camera, picture takers can work towards achieving excellent photographic pieces without spending too much time in the field.

Storage Solutions for Specialty Items

When you find that you do not have enough space for all of your belongings, whether it is in your personal or in your professional life, one of your best storage options may be self storage units. This can also be the case when it comes to specialty items that are either usually not allowed in regular storage facilities or are of higher value than you would be comfortable with in a more traditional type of storage setting. When it comes to specialized or secure business storage facilities, there are several options available to fit your needs.
When it comes to extra storage space for specialty items, the search for a facility can become slightly more difficult than searching for a more traditional self storage company. One of the best ways to conduct your search is by enlisting the services of a self storage review website. Here you will be able to compare self storage companies that cater to your special needs. This can be a great asset no matter what items you will need to have stored in your new unit. It is important to understand all of the regulations that are attached to a specialized storage facility so that you will always be aware of all the security measures and other restrictions that apply.
This type of self storage facility will have set hours that you can access your belongings and the security levels are usually much higher. Depending on the items that you are storing, there may also be other rules that you will have to follow while in the facility. This type of self storage company will always strive to make access to your belongings as convenient as possible, but with anything that requires more security, they will have measures in place to ensure that only authorized individuals will have access to your unit.
When it comes to specialized self storage companies, your options are much smaller than with a more traditional type of facility. This can be both an advantage and a disadvantage, depending on what you will need stored. The advantage is that you will become intimately knowledgeable with the staff and procedures of your company, but the disadvantage is that the competition is much smaller so you will generally have to pay more for the service. While there is less competition, it still does exist so the rate you pay will be competitive with other companies that offer the same service.
Using a self storage review website to find a specialized storage facility can be one of the best ways to compare each of the companies that offers the services you need. As an example, say you are looking for self storage in Preston, simply visit the review site and search for companies in Preston. While your choices will be fewer, it is still a good idea to use this type of website so you will be able to achieve the best deal possible for your needs. When it comes to protecting your belongings you have stored, it is essential that you privately purchase an insurance policy to cover the contents of your unit. While most people have too much clutter, there are some items that are better suited for a specialized type of storage facility, and even those can be found on a quality self storage website.
The Golf Stance

The position you take at the ball dictates every other position you will get into when you actually swing the club. If you’re bent over from the shoulders, leaning back on the right foot, or your hips are twisted, whatever, your swing plane is going to be affected. Here again, I can see no reason why anyone, pro or rank amateur, so long as he has fairly normal physical construction and capabilities, cannot take a sound stance or address position. Certainly, even within that context there will be variations on a theme, and more of them in number because many more body parts come into use than in the hold on the club, but there are parameters within which all golfers can set up to play their best.
There is no reason why you can’t stand with your weight evenly distributed on both feet, the weight on each centered. Anyone should be able to hold the shoulders relatively square to the line of flight, as well as the hips. Anyone can stand with the feet no wider apart than the shoulders.
Foot Alignment
For standard long shots, with the driver, fairway woods, and long irons, the feet should be no wider apart than the shoulders. I believe this provides the best way to maintain balance and fluidity of movement when making these ultimate, fullest swings. If the feet are too wide apart, the tendency is to be stiff and inflexible. You must then compensate for this by using greater arm motion and an extra forceful use of the legs. This is how Doug Sanders plays-obviously it can work. But I am trying to set up a basic standard from which you can make your own modifications
If the feet are too close together, the force of the total motion used in swinging the driver can more readily cause you to lose balance. You have to twist your body within a shorter circumference to keep from swaying. I believe Jimmy Demaret used to stand with his feet very close together even for driving. He also used his hands more than many players, by way of compensation. But Jimmy has a great pair of hands-very big and strong-and he can handle this kind of action.
Doug Sanders and Jimmy Demaret are on the two outer limits of right and wrong and their styles take a lot of practice to perfect. Few average golfers play that much, which in turn makes them average golfers (score isn’t the only measure of this designation), so it makes good sense to take the simplest stand at the ball.
As you gradually drop down to shorter clubs, the separation between the feet narrows proportionately. Obviously, when swinging an 8-iron you don’t need as big a spread, because there will be less exertion in the total swing. If you stood as wide apart with your feet with an 8-iron as you do with a driver, it would be like standing with your feet outside your shoulders with the driver. You would lose flexibility of body movement. You will probably come to the proportionate separation of feet naturally, but it is worth mentioning.
There is much more to stance than the separation of the feet, though. Next in importance is the alignment of the ball in relation to your feet-your left foot, particularly. There are different views on this part of setting up. Some people say that with the driver you line the ball up off your left heel. Then you gradually move it back toward the center as the clubs you use get shorter, so that by the time you are down to the 9-iron you have the ball splitting the middle.
I believe the driver position is correct-off the left heel-because the swing with this longest of all the clubs should be a sweeping blow, as opposed to the more descending blow of the irons. But I also believe that all the other shots, right down to the shortest irons, should also be played from the same ball-to-foot relationship. That is, around the area of the left heel.
Why wouldn’t you “sweep” the shorter irons, then, just as with the driver? Because with these clubs your arc is naturally shorter and more upright and the downswing is correspondingly more descending. The length of the club itself determines the length and plane of the swing you make with it. If you build a swing playing all shots from the same basic position, you will be infinitely more consistent in the way you hit all shots. No matter what the length of the club you’re using, it will reach the same point at the bottom of the arc, where the back of the ball is.
My solution came primarily in ball-to-foot alignment, or placement. I had been playing the ball well toward the middle for my irons, and with my then-flatter swing (largely the result of that alignment) and my hooking grip, I was driving down on the ball with a very sharply angled stroke. In a way I was hitting the ball too soon. I was using a technique for all my normal shots that should be reserved for hitting into a strong wind on holes that dogleg to the left.
The first thing I did was move the ball, for the irons, more forward. Immediately, the club began to pass more freely under the ball and through the turf. And I was getting it up into the air. I also realized that I didn’t have to make such a flat swing going back.
Indeed, as I have already suggested, the new ball placement made a more upright takeaway more natural.
Actually, my back swing is not so much upright as it is straight back. But because I was into something new and strange, at first it felt like I was taking the club back outside the line. I wasn’t.
I started hitting the ball with a slight draw from right to left.
Then I straightened out my grip. The left hand came back to the left a bit, the right hand came up on top of the handle more. I started hitting shots with a fade, a nice high ball that dropped off a tad to the right. When it landed on the green the ball barely rolled. And, I began hitting driver shots into more playable lies. My reputation as a scrambler, while deserved, has always overshadowed the fact that I am really a pretty accurate driver of the golf ball, and have been since that time back in Chicago.
Because I had always played my driver off the left heel, the change in placement with the irons would seem not to have made much difference in that part of my game. But the change for the irons that altered my basic swing plane carried over to the driving game and, along with the “new” grip, made me a much better driver-a fader. The key change was the new placement of the ball in relation to my feet. From that everything else flowed naturally. I became a player, not just a hitter.

The Travelling Consultant
Many consultants find themselves taking assignments that are away from home. When you are working on a free lance basis, it isn’t always easy to pick and choose where your next job will come from. Consulting jobs often last for several months, making it necessary to find temporary accommodations in the new location while the gig lasts.
Sometimes the term of the contract is known in advance and at other times, it is based on certain tasks being accomplished without a firm deadline. Temporary housing arrangements therefore, need to be made on a month to month basis. Such short term leases can be hard to find if one is looking for more than a hotel room. Hotel rooms are an option, but they tend to be expensive and inconvenient.
Hotel rooms without full kitchens mean that the consultant must take his or her meals at restaurants every day. Breakfast, lunch and dinner. Not only does that add very significant expense that might not be obvious when comparing the cost of various lodging options, but it also adds a tremendous time burden to their daily routine. Consider the amount of time spent travelling to the restaurant, waiting for your order to be taken, waiting for the food to be delivered, waiting for the check once you’ve finished, and then travelling back to the hotel room – every single day. And then there is the uncomfortable nature of sitting alone in a restaurant every day.
The better choice, by far, is to find an apartment with a full kitchen. You can buy groceries, store them in a refrigerator and cook meals just as if you were at home. It saves time and money. Preferably, the apartment would be furnished, including pots and pans, kitchen utensils and other needful items so you don’t have to bring a moving van’s worth of possessions with you when you travel. Apartments, though, can be hard to find on a month to month basis. Many landlords require one year leases.
There’s also the problem of finding the time to look for a place to stay in the first place. Once you get the job, the company expects you to step right in and be at the top of your game from day one. They don’t want you distracted or taking time off to go look for apartments, to wait for the telephone company to come one day and the cable company to stop by the next, and all the little inconveniences that go along with moving.
Most professionals who travel to extended assignments away from home are starting to turn to companies like Wynne Residential Corporate Housing. Wynne provides completely furnished apartments including kitchen utensils, towels, bed linens, and everything else you need to be comfortable from the day you move in. They require a minimum stay of only 30 days. They also make sure that utilities and telephone are set up for you before you move in, leaving you free to focus on the job you came there to do.
Newest in the “Green Age”: Eco-Friendly Smoking

What better way is there to reduce your carbon footprint than by no longer spewing carcinogenic smoke into our atmosphere? From the viewpoint of an eco-conscious consumer, the electronic cigarette, or e cigarette, is a brilliant alternative to smoking a tobacco cigarette. Is cigarette smoke that big of a deal? When compared to giant factories profusely pouring out hazardous fumes, the smoke from a tobacco cigarette may seem inconsequential. But the public is now well informed about the contents of cigarette smoke. Non-smokers and the environmentally conscious cringe at the thought of tar, arsenic, carbon monoxide and hydrogen cyanide poisoning our air space. However, we have made concessions for our smoking loved ones because to socially ostracize someone is as acceptable as dumping oil in the ocean.
Now it seems we all have an alternative to tobacco cigarettes. Electric cigarettes are small devices that deliver an inhaled dose of nicotine through a vaporized solution. They are powered by rechargeable lithium-ion batteries, and consist of the battery, an atomizer that converts the liquefied nicotine into a vapor, circuitry and a reusable plastic mouthpiece. The cartridges have varying amounts of nicotine, depending on the smoker’s preference (high, medium, low, or zero nicotine). All of the main parts can be recharged or reused, which reduces the waste normally produced by tobacco cigarettes in the leftover butts and packaging.
As mentioned, the nicotine is delivered through vaporization. There is no flame involved whatsoever. Because there is no flame, there is neither smoke to waft into the atmosphere nor ashes dropped in unsightly places. This also eliminates the problem of second hand smoke alluded to previously. Many public establishments have banned smoking, which leaves smokers sometimes literally standing out in the cold, and feeling segregated from the rest of the population. But with electronic cigarettes, that no longer technically applies because no “smoking” is involved. The exhalation of vapor, unlike second hand smoke, is odorless, generally harmless and dissipates into the air within seconds, leaving practically no trace.
Electric cigarettes are also more economical. Those who buy electronic cigarettes report a cost of $2.50 per pack on average, in contrast to the pricier tobacco cigarettes. Cheap electronic cigarettes are easy to find and in most models of e-cigarettes, like those sold by Blu Electronic Cigarettes and Luci Electronic Cigarettes, two lithium-ion batteries are included, which allows the user to alternate batteries and thereby maximize the use of the e-cigarette. Add in the factor of being able to order E-cigarettes online, minimizing the need for paper.
But will long-time smokers of regular cigarettes be amenable to choosing the alternative of electric cigarettes now provided for them? Many electronic cigarette reviews suggest that some individuals have already begun to use e-cigarettes and are, as yet, satisfied and not considering returning to regular tobacco cigarettes. If that trend continues, then we will have e-cigarettes that save our air just like our e-books are saving our trees. This planet may just have a chance if people keep coming up with products, ideas and alternatives like the electronic cigarette.
Expense Management Systems and the HR Department
Human resources (HR) departments have a lot of means at their disposal these days for managing the “human capital” of businesses. This includes software to help HR departments keep track of all the information they need to have on file about employees. Keeping track of such large amounts of information with a variety of applications requires a high level of compatibility between the software being used. Since information is stored centrally so that it can be accessed by a variety of different applications, the software that HR departments use is often referred to as enterprise resource planning (ERP) software. Since these systems are often modular, ERP software may contain a number of HR modules that can be used to complete standard HR departments tasks such as payroll (no longer simply relegated to the accounting department), benefits administration, recruiting, training and tracking employee performance.
When it comes to benefits administration, this is usually where the HR department and an expense management system would need to work together. Automated expense management systems collect data regarding things like employee mileage, expenses for business meals and expenses for business travel. Usually someone in the HR department is somewhere on the approval chain for expense reports because of their function as administrators of benefits. Since HR departments usually manage basic demographic data about employees, they would also be the department to connect with if any personnel information needed to be changed within the expense management system. Also, if there are changes in personnel as far as employees being promoted or demoted and the resultant changes mean a change in the expense reporting process, it will usually go through the HR department.
Most importantly the HR department is probably going to have a large say in the policies that govern expense reporting. For example, when it comes to mileage, most companies have some sort of policy that mileage only starts being reimbursed after employees have driven a certain amount of miles, or only when they are driving to certain locations. The HR department has information about where all the employees live and this can be used in the determination of a good minimum mileage at which employees should start being reimbursed.
If a company has a fleet of vehicles that are used when employees have to go on company business, the HR department can probably help to develop the guidelines that govern the use of those vehicles. As policies that govern expense reporting change, the expense management system provider will probably look to the HR department for the policy changes so that the expense management system can be updated to reflect the changes.
It is important for HR department software and an automated expense management system to be able share data. Expense management systems provide a large amount of information that can be very useful in the decision making processes that HR managers usually have a large say in. A good working knowledge of the software used by the HR department will allow you to choose an expense management system that is fully compatible, allowing your company to get the most benefit of all that automated expense management systems have to offer.

Creating a Special Card to Accompany a Flower Delivery

- How to mail flowers
- Send Anniversary Flowers
- Mail Birthday Flowers
- Send Funeral Flowers
- Mail Mothers Day Flowers
- Mail Thank You Flowers
- Mail Valentines Flowers
- Send Daisies
- Lilies
- Roses by Mail
The act of sending flowers for delivery is a meaningful and widely appreciated way to convey a special message or celebrate an event, and can even help bring feelings of sympathy to those in need of something to brighten their day. Sending flowers is a great way to get your message across with meaning, and flowers themselves can take on an array of thoughts and feelings to create a unique connection between a flower bouquet sender and recipient. Traditionally, flowers are sent along with a small card to indicate the sender, but over the course of time these simple bouquet elements have become a major component of the flower delivery process. Despite the fairly common occurrence of these cards, however, many people find it difficult to gather the right words and inscribe a meaningful message to accompany a beautiful collection of blooms. Senders can rely on the creativity and suggestions of their florist, especially when working with seasoned professionals at Mail Flowers in Austin Tx and other notable online delivery outlets, but creating a personal message can also be a fun process on one’s own.
There are a number of ways to choose a message for a flower delivery card that are both appropriate for the occasion and personally touching for a recipient. One of the most classic methods for creating a timeless flower delivery card is choosing a favorite quote or passage. This quick snippet of literature can focus on the reason for sending flowers, such as a specific accomplishment or lifetime event, or might relate personally to the recipient in some way, such as a quote or passage about their career, location, or a personal hobby. If you’re hard-pressed to find an appropriate piece of writing along these lines, you can always work with the specific flowers you’re sending, as well; the numerous tomes of civilization’s best poetry has something insightful to say in regards to just about any bloom you choose. Searching online for a quote or rummaging through a focused resource book such as a quotation thesaurus can help ease selection.
Another great, though probably more time-intensive, way to fashion an unforgettable flower delivery card is to create a poetic or observational quote of your own. You don’t have to be a professional wordsmith to come up with something impressive; try thinking about the reason for sending flowers, along with your recipient. You might introduce a comic device by having the flowers “speak” for you, conveying that a bunch of daisies are all chattering to say their congratulations the loudest. Or you might put together a simple, elegant sentence with a basic poetic device like alliteration –when multiple words in a sentence begin with the same letter– to bring a smile to your recipient’s face.
Making your own original statement can be daunting, but the personal effort and character involved are sure to be appreciated by even the most critical of audiences. Remember that your card can be an extra source of excitement for recipients, and make your message count with something personal and special that brings out the beauty of a delivered flower bouquet.
